Bye, Filly-sha

Get it? Because she’s a horse? I'm really funny, guys. Anyway, I guess sometimes dreams really do come true. Victoria is gone, ladies and gentlemen! And all it took was a good old-fashioned silent treatment and one time where I pushed her until she got really pissed. Nibbles, a cute teal squirrel, has moved into town to take her place.

The only downside is that the flea market is tomorrow, and Victoria had a lovely loveseat in her house I wanted to buy. It’s from Group A, which I’m pretty certain is the rarest item group in my town. So...bad timing. BUT-in a twist of fate, I did slingshot down a lovely bed! I couldn’t believe it. Here is a fairly recent house update (it still looks like sh*t, though):

I want to give my goldfish (see bottom left) a name and make a fun little area for him. I’m thinking “Orangey”, a tribute to Trailer Park Boys.

Speaking of, I paid off my second loan with pockets full of pricey fish and bugs! I wish someone had told me that was the key to making bells when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure back then I made most of my money selling fossils (without even donating any because I was a reprobate). No wonder I never got past the first house upgrade when I played then. Unforgivable.

Also, my dear friend Reid came to visit Amori and I visited his town, Karamja. Here is a sweet photo of him enjoying the warm welcome I prepared for him, in a special “Here’s Johnny” kind of way. Obviously, we shopped in each others’ stores so that we could unlock Nookington’s. Tom Nook told me they’ll be closed for renovations tomorrow, YAY! Thank you, Reid. :)

Finally, things are going well with my new man, Frobert. He was sick for a few days this week, and I, like the amazing girlfriend I am, delivered medicine to his house. In return, he made sure to remind me to keep up with my workout routine. I will say, though, right now he won’t talk about anything else except getting a misty shirt. Which, I have to admit, would look great with his skin tone. But can we talk about anything else, dude…?

Well, as aforementioned, the flea market is tomorrow. So I guess it’s time to fill my house with ugly crap that I need to get rid of.

XOXO,

Chilly

P.S. Lily FINALLY let me in her house, and I may have figured out what’s going on with her. Spotted these two bottles on her counter (Jim Beam and Blue Curucao). I think that, unfortunately, her drinking has led to her decline. Let’s keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

  1. I would've never thought that Lily had the "It's 5PM somewhere" mindset. Thoughts and prayers 🙏💪
